About the Masterday

Welcome to the website for the National SPiN Physics Master’s Open Day 2026, organised by study association De Leidsche Flesch.

On Friday, March 13th, SPiN (Students Physics in the Netherlands) is organizing the national Master‘s Day for all students who study (applied) physics or astronomy and want to pursue a master‘s degree after their bachelor’s. At the Master‘s Day, you will be introduced to many different Master‘s programs from different Universities within the Netherlands.

Many study programs in the Netherlands will be present, all in one location, meaning you won’t have to travel all around the Netherlands.
On the day itself, you can walk around the information market and talk with various study programs.

This year the Master‘s Day will be organised in Leiden in the Atrium of the Gorleaus Building, Einsteinweg 55, 2333 CC. The day starts at 14:00 and is over at 18:00.

Joining this event is free and registration is not necessary: you can walk in and join the event. However if you want updates on when to sign up for lectures you can sign up here (as long as there is place in the lecture room, signing up is not necessary!).
